Monday 18th May:
The government directives to help combat the effects of the Corona virus / Covid19 outbreak have now been in place since 24th March, with a further review of the national situation due around May 28th.
The Park Practice wishes to reassure that as this challenging time continues , the health and wellbeing of our patients and our dental team remains the utmost priority. We continue to adhere to the advice of the Chief Dental Officer with regard to treatment of presenting dental issues.
We very much appreciate the understanding of all patients who have called regarding a dental issue that has developed.
Our dentists have been advising many of our registered patients and also people looking to register with the practice, and we are extremely grateful that everybody has approached dealing with their dental challenge so positively and with understanding that we are limited in what options we can offer in these unprecedented times.
We will treat your dental issue within the practice when we are able to book clinical appointments.
Call our team on 0141- 334 1211 if you have developed a dental problem and we will triage over the phone and prescribe analgesics and/or antibiotics , if warranted by the symptoms. .
However, if you have had severe pain and/or swelling for more than 48 hours we will see if a referral to a centralised Dental Hub, administered by the Public Dental Service, is more appropriate.
The guidance issued on Tuesday 24th March was for dentists to cease any form of dental treatment within general dental practices. Since that date we have been contacting our patients who have a routine appointment booked and postponing until we are able to re-schedule to a more appropriate time. We are keeping positive that will be very soon! Please check this site for updates of when we will be able to begin scheduling of appointments.
We value all our patients and are really sorry we can't provide our normal level of service. After 20 years of caring for the local community we are all finding this very difficult but we will be here for you when "normality" resumes in time.
